This is an old post I did of styley frends. I decided it's time for another. Over the past 12 months I had a baby, lost my job, moved house twice, learned to drive (properly!), sat my license 3 times and had all sorts of other big stuff happen. Stressful times really sort out 'the women from the girls'. It showed me that I have some awesome, loyal friends who helped me out with support, advice and more. It took me well into my 20s before I finally clicked that it's QUALITY not quantity that counts when it comes to friends. These days, 500 Facebook 'friends' mean nothing if there's no one you can call to come over if you've had a shitty day. My grandmother once told me if I could count one good friend throughout my entire life, I'd be very lucky. I feel fortunate I can count more than 1 BFF who have helped, listened to and supported me lately. Here's to you girls and boys - y'all know who you are!
